Otto Schmidt, born in 1972 in Omsk, Siberia, is a Russian comic book artist, illustrator, and writer. He gained recognition for his dynamic character designs and vibrant depictions of superheroes and fantasy figures. His first artbook, The Great Girls-Artbook of Otto Schmidt, was released in 2014 with Toonbox Studio. He later collaborated with Marvel on Secret Wars: Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians Team-Up #4 alongside writer John Layman.

In 2015, he published a second artbook (FMMFTL) and a custom tarot deck with Italian publisher Inkiostro. Schmidt’s style blends bold lines, expressive figures, and a flair for sensuality and humor. He currently lives in Cyprus.
