Why Use Velvette Detailer?

When mixing data sets (checkpoints or lora), the base style can lose strength, contrast, or clarity.

This detailer acts as a style stabilizer, restoring the original visual identity without resorting to aggressive negatives or complex indicator engineering.

What Changed from V1?

Velvette Detailer V2 is not just a detail layer; it's a deep architecture stabilizer designed to restore image integrity. It acts as a coherence anchor, allowing the model to regain its visual strength without the need for aggressive negative prompts or complex indicator engineering.

Core Benefits:

  • Structural Integrity: Unlike common detailers that generate noise, this engine maintains defined anatomy and facial features even under extreme stress.

  • High-Stress Stability: Stress-tested up to Force 4.0, maintaining semantic consistency where other models collapse into black artifacts or visual noise.

  • Dynamic Material Rendering: Intelligently optimizes metallic surfaces, lighting effects, and skin textures, applying detail with surgical precision.

  • Eye & Expression Preservation: Specifically designed to protect fine eye detail and facial expression, preventing the "cloudy gaze" common in over-blending processes.

  • Strength 0.5 - 1.0: Subtle texture enhancement and color cleansing.

  • Strength 1.0 - 2.0: "Premium Poster" look. Ideal for highlighting materials such as latex, metals (gold/silver), and dynamic lighting effects.

  • Strength 2.0+: Extreme rendering. Use when the Checkpoint base is very diluted and you need to maximize the style's identity.

Well, I wrote this a few weeks ago...

Hello!, I was wondering whether to refine the Velvette checkpoint or refine a lora to correct the offset of the base style of version 1 (the thing is that I did both, but I will only publish the lora since the checkpoint is a kind of draft and my hands broke and I am honestly too lazy to fix it), well in summary... this is made to generate the base style that was diluted by CuteLatte_ (I only did it to no longer use cutelatte in the negatives and thus be able to generate the model's styles without much discrepancy), the idea was to highlight certain strokes that were lost when mixing Cutelatte with pvdc and I think it should work to recreate danbooru's styles more faithfully although it is only made for Velvette, I have not tested it with anything else).
