Keita Amemiya (雨宮慶太) is a Japanese film and television director, screenwriter, and character designer from Urayasu, Chiba. He made his directorial debut with Mirai Ninja (1988). Amemiya is best known for his work in the tokusatsu genre, including notable films like Zeiram (1991), the Toei Super Hero Fair series (1993-1995), and Tao no Tsuki (1997). He has worked on the Kamen Rider series and created the acclaimed GARO franchise, establishing himself as a pioneering figure in Japanese science fiction and tokusatsu filmmaking.
