Model Introduction: Custom-WAI-Rouwei 0.8 (Experimental)
Custom-WAI-Rouwei 0.8 is an experimental SDXL checkpoint merge created by upgrading the core of WAI-Branch-Rouwei E-pred-1 to the newer Rouwei 0.8 foundation.
The upgrade uses the formula:
WAI-Branch-Rouwei-E-pred-1 + [Clean-Rouwei-0.8 − Rouwei-0.7]
This method preserves the style, behavior, and output characteristics of the original WAI branch while injecting the core improvements introduced in Rouwei 0.8.

Retains the visual style and generation tendencies of WAI-Branch-Rouwei E-pred-1.
Updates the underlying core to Rouwei 0.8 for improved structure, stability, and cleaner outputs.
Performed as a core-upgrade merge, not a full blend, to maintain maximum compatibility with the original branch.
⚠️ Current Status
This is an experimental build.
Not fully tested — output behavior, stability, and edge-case performance may vary.
Possible issues include: style shifts, texture inconsistencies, or noise under complex prompts.
Old SDXL is a merge of two older SDXL models — Nova Anime XL v5b and WAI NSFW Illustrious SDXL v12.
For me, Nova v5b has one of the most unique and interesting styles among all Nova versions, while WAI v12 is the most balanced and well-rounded one (at least in my opinion).
This merge is my way of combining what I love from both — Nova’s distinct artistic flavor and WAI’s solid overall structure.
I also use Old SDXL as the base model for most of my future merges.
