Christmas by Tad Mochinaga Style

Tad Mochinaga was the animator behind the classic 1960's Stop Action/Claymation Christmas specials like Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. This embedding tries to capture that art style and nudge it toward the claymation style while also remaining colorful and modern at the same time.

No need to call for Christmas themes - it'll automatically put your characters and settings into the holiday season.

It can be a bit unpredictable with some checkpoints - for example, on some testing with Babes and XenoBABES, certain characters just sort of got crazy and out of proportions while others worked fine. Then on some other models, everything was coming out just as expected. I'm not sure why - and if this were more than a simple Christmas Novelty embedding, I would have spent more time on it. But since it's just a fun little thing - be warned - it works great on many checkpoints and others... maybe not so much. You may also want to play with the weights a bit - higher or lower depending upon what you're doing.

It like portraits and simple scenes. It seems to really like making animals, but - unfortunately, it doesn't inherently know any Christmas characters. So your results with characters like Rudolf, Frosty, and the rest will rely on your checkpoint and other embeds or LoRas to get the character. This just adds the style.

Prompting Tips: Seems to work best with just simple prompts like your subject, a location, and maybe some simple actions. Getting too complicated with things makes things go wonky - as SD often does. This one just seems that when it DOES start to go wonky - it really goes all out. lol

Mixing in other styles may or may not work well. Experiment.

Weighting works... XmasTad:0.8 would run it at 80% strength and may be helpful on more complex prompts or checkpoints that are hit or miss.
