Harisen / ハリセン

harisen is a Japanese slapstick comedy fan. It’s a classic comedy prop. The 'straight man' (tsukkomi) uses it to hit the 'funny man' (boke) when they say something silly. It makes a loud noise but doesn’t actually hurt.
