NowaiRX SDXL

NowaiRX is an SDXL merge checkpoint that I am currently focusing on and actively refining.

After extensive testing with various merges based on Homosimile, Nova v5.5, and Kage (Illustrious), I noticed that many results gradually leaned toward:

• Heavy semi-realistic styles, or

• Over-simplified outputs that lost stylistic identity

Because of that, I decided to re-center my work around my original style preferences, using a cleaner and more controllable merge setup.

🔹 What is NowaiRX?

• Nowai = Nova + WAI, two checkpoints I am very familiar with and frequently use

• RX:

  • R: uses WAI’s CLIP and VAE, which fits my prompting habits and gives more consistent results

  • X: Xavier, chosen for its strong control over anatomy, body structure, and shading

Nowai is also one of my older checkpoints, and I will continue maintaining the Nowai line alongside this version.

🎨 Style Direction

NowaiRX is designed with a clear target in mind:

• Young male characters

• A masculine appearance

• Moderate musculature (not overly bulky or slim)

• Clearly anime-oriented, avoiding semi-realistic drift

• Easier control over poses, body balance, and expressions

This model is still under active testing, and feedback is highly appreciated to help improve future versions.
