style
General info
This lora was trained on the first 12 episodes of Seikon no Qwaser (2011) with 546 video clips. Which is an ecchi style anime with lots of nudity and breasts and yuri related scenes. The dataset has breasts / nipples, but no lower nudity. It's trained on the japanese dub audio. And quite a lot of the dataset is NSFW. I made a mistake and should've captioned the nipples, so those are hit or miss.
Trigger: QWASERSTY (just put this at beginning of the prompt)
Avoid detailed lightning descriptions or it may not trigger the style from my tests. It works well with camera panning up on people. Or static camera. Basically the show doesn't have complicated movement or camera work. And to be honest not amazing motion with animation either. Think of how anime scenes are composed and prompt the camera work and composition that way is my advice.
Warning: The size of the lora is quite big. I was trying to experiment and learn. I wanted to see if increasing rank could fix the motion distortion issue anime loras have. And did not. Usually I trained 32 rank, but this is 128 rank. So you have a 2.5gb file... I will try 48 rank or 64 rank next time.
Training info
This was trained on musubi tuner fork and it took around 4 attempts before I got this version.
For learning rate: I was using 5e-5 before, but wanted to try a lower LR due to dataset size. So I used 2e-5. I think over time it was more stable. So I think if your data set is large (500+ clips) then lower LR may be better?
I was training at 512x320 and I recommend NOT going this low. You need some dataset with higher resolution. Switching my dataset to 896x512 made things instantly much better. I have to block swap 12 on a 5090 but it trains (500 steps per 90 mins). I think it will be best to run some lower buckets at high resolution and higher buckets on this lower one. I trained to around 15K on lower resolution then landed on 18.5K with higher resolution and got better results.
The captions were made using my captioning tool and gemini + the scene splitter in LTX trainer which is just basically pyscene detect. I did an initial pass and put all clips over 5 seconds long onto a 2nd pass folder and split those scenes again. Result was that manually trimming the dataset was not needed. I also removed the first few frames of all videos as the sometimes get put at the front from the last clip. I put each clip into its frame bucket group via padding or trimming a max of 4 frames. Gemini gave me a script to do this all automatically. The dataset was already in 24fps, though in the future I think I will train on 25FPS as the LTX guys said that's best.
For captioning I was afraid due to the nudity it would not work with gemini, but 95% did caption on initial run then 4% remaining on 2nd pass, and 1% of the data had to be done by hand. But I kind of rushed this dataset, the captioning is not super accurate. And I should've captioned breast size and nipples visible or not.
Prompting
It's trained on the japanese audio, you can prompt in Japanese by saying for example:
She says in Japanese "Omae mou shindeiru". It also works in English as is fine. Sexual noises like moans, kisses etc work. I don't mention the style at all but you can try "2d anime" if you think it will help.
Here is how to prompt the various characters. Please note, this lora was made to try to get the style, I necessarily wasn't trying to make character loras.
