As a Belkan knight bound by ancient magic, she embodies discipline, loyalty, and an unwavering warrior’s code. In A’s, she acts as both tactician and frontline combatant in the Book of Darkness incident, eventually forming a deep bond of mutual respect with Nanoha and Fate. By StrikerS, she matures into a composed instructor and high-ranking officer within the Time-Space Administrative Bureau, mentoring the next generation while retaining her formidable battlefield presence.

Calm, stoic, and honorable, Signum carries herself with refined knightly composure. She rarely shows overt emotion, yet her devotion to her comrades—especially Hayate Yagami—is absolute. Her combat style emphasizes precision swordsmanship, high-speed aerial maneuvering, and disciplined magical control. She wields the intelligent Device Laevatein, a transforming blade capable of explosive, flame-based Belkan attacks.

Visually, Signum is characterized by her very long lavender hair, typically tied into a high ponytail with a ribbon, sharp layered bangs framing her face, and striking light blue eyes. She possesses a tall, slender, athletic build with a defined waist and commanding posture, reinforcing her image as a classical armored knight reinterpreted through a futuristic magical lens.
