This LoRA can only more or less accurately depict the Cybran command unit in a frontal, full-length/cowboy shot. The upper body, and especially the close-up of the head, looks nothing like the original. This LoRA is overtrained, and the commander's side view is always turned to the left. Also, the angled view is often tilted in the same direction. The energy lines on the commander's head and chest are often drawn incorrectly and randomly.
The commander has two versions of the artwork. The standard black and gray version, like in the game, and a second rusty brown version. Adding the "rust" and "retro" tags might help bring the image closer to the original.
I really wanted to make a LoRA based on the Cybran Commander. For this, I created a dataset of 50 images using chatgpt/gemini, based on four images of official art and screenshots from the game. The ACU images in these images don't always have consistent detail. As a result, the LoRA turned out pretty bad, but not bad enough to immediately throw it in the trash. This LoRA can create a good image, but it has a huge number of shortcomings, which I listed above. Of course, I created a bad dataset, and making a robot model for illustriousXL was a failure. In the future, I will try to remake this LoRA and release it using a better model, more suitable for robots and dragons: flux, z-image, or qwen. Consider this LoRA a kind of preview. I might be a bit tired of the IllustriousXL models; they have undeniable merits, but the overall scene layout and the same backgrounds are starting to get tiresome.
