Komuso ( 虚無僧 ) / Tengai ( 天蓋 ) for Illustrious

Komuso were itinerant Japanese mendicants historically associated with the Fuke sect of Zen Buddhism. They are especially known for wearing the tengai, a woven basket-like hood that obscured the face and symbolized detachment from the self and the abandonment of ego.
