This is a Western comic LoRA that is ready for image to image work. I created this from original artwork that was then finished in Stable Diffusion and Clip Studio Paint. The goal was to have an established look that worked with CGI mannequins, rough sketches, photographs and digital renders.

It is built for image to image.
I consider text to image as a rough starting point. Flux2_klein_9b was built for image editing.

The LoRA's true power comes into play when used with existing images. I'm including a json file that you can include in your prompts to make the most of the comic book style.

Here’s the JSON, stripped of the subject. I've focused it entirely on the technical application of ink and light.

JSON

{
  "style_profile": "Dynamic Comic Book Ink Line Art",
  "intent": "Transform source photograph into a high-contrast, black and white ink with cell shading color, graphic novel illustration using expressive ink drawing techniques.",
  "detailed_prompt_instructions": {
    "overall_medium": "Black ink on white paper, comic book art, cell shaded color graphic novel illustration. No greyscale or halftone dots, only solid black and pure white with flat color and simple blending.",
    "line_weight_and_lighting": {
      "The primary rule of line work": "Variable lineweight based on light and shadow.",
      "Highlights": "Where light contacts an edge, the black ink line must be very thin, precise, and sometimes broken (rim lighting effect).",
      "Shadows": "Where shadows darken an object, lines must become significantly thicker, heavier, and merge into solid black masses."
    },
    "depth_and_perspective_rules": {
      "Foreground": "Objects closest to the viewer must have the thickest holding lines (outlines) and the highest density of internal detail work.",
      "Mid_and_Background": "Mid-ground elements have moderate line thickness. Background elements are simplified.",
      "Far_Distance": "Objects in the far distance must be rendered with extremely thin, sparse lines and minimal detail to create atmospheric perspective."

    "rendering_logic": {
      "High_Contrast_Areas": "Primary focal points receive precise linework and deliberate detail density to guide the viewer’s eye.",
      "Structural_Treatment": "Smooth surfaces utilize minimalist, clean linework. Textured or aged surfaces feature more character lines and varied ink density.",
      "Materials": "High detail density inside the shapes of foreground textures (folds, wrinkles, or surfaces) using expressive, confident ink lines."

    "shading_technique": {
      "Allowed": "Feathered ink lines (tapered brush strokes that follow the form) and solid black fills for deep shadow regions.",
      "Forbidden": "Do not use cross-hatching or muddy, scratchy detailing. Keep the black work clean and graphic."
