Annette riginally was an agent dispatched to determine whether the earth people survived or be extinct, but she was reluctant to destroy earth people by touching on the kindness of Hyuga and Kagiyama. In order to stop Abtu from destroying earth people, she used supernatural powers to force her to coma, but in return, she herself falls asleep for decades. After waking up from sleep, she lived as Kagiyama's adopted daughter, Annette Sugawara, while cooperating with the development of the "Ra" in preparation for the battle against Abtu.
