Important Update Note

I recently found that, with Anima, using CFG around 2.0 can produce images that stay closer to the trained dataset than the CFG 5.5 setting I had been using before.

The older sample images generated with CFG 5.5 have been kept as they are, since they still show a more polished Anima-style interpretation of this LoRA.

I have also uploaded new CFG 2.0 sample images to the image section below this LoRA page, so you can see examples that are more faithful to the trained tattoo dataset.

CFG Guidance

• CFG 2.0: More dataset-faithful output. closer reproduction of the trained visual style.

• CFG 4.0: Balanced setting. Similar to Civitai's default preview style.

• CFG 5.0 to 5.5: More polished Anima-style interpretation. Often produces attractive anime images, but may be less faithful to the original dataset details.

ApexMale Anime Focus is a male-focused soft anime style LoRA for Anima Base v1.0.

It helps push Anima toward cleaner and softer male character rendering, with better-looking faces, hair, shoulders, upper-body shape, clothing folds, and a slightly painterly anime finish.

This is not only for mature men. It also works well for young adult male characters, fantasy male characters, modern male characters, and general handsome male protagonists.

Even though it was trained with male-focused images, it can also add a cleaner soft-anime finish to female characters and background/interior scenes.

Recommended strength: 0.7 - 0.9

My usual setting: 0.8

Use lower strength if you want to keep more of the base model.

Use higher strength if you want the ApexMale style to be more visible.
