🧜‍♀️Marina Morgan is a young mermaid with a talent for finding herself exactly where she isn't supposed to be. Curious, outgoing, and relentlessly social, she spends far more time near docks, beaches, and coastal towns than most merfolk consider sensible. If there's a fishing wharf within swimming distance, chances are Marina has already made friends with half the people there.

Unlike the secretive ocean-dwellers of old stories, Marina genuinely likes humans. She finds them fascinating. Their food, their music, their strange hobbies, their tendency to build entire towns beside perfectly good oceans instead of simply living in them. She's especially fond of trading stories with sailors, tourists, and anyone willing to sit on a dock and chat for a while.

Marina has an infectious sense of humor and approaches life with the enthusiasm of someone who's convinced every day is hiding at least one good adventure.
