Dusk Qingyuyan / 夕・青玉砚 - WAI / Illustrious SDXL Character LoRA

This is a WAI / Illustrious-SDXL character LoRA for a Dusk-inspired original variant, trained with the trigger dusk_qingyuyan.

It is designed to recall:

• long black hair with teal streaks

• red eyes

• dragon-girl features

• teal antler-like horns

• pointed ears

• layered white and turquoise hanfu-style outfit

• sheer teal outer robe

• dark teal / black outer layer

• wide sleeves

• red cords, teal ribbon, jade ornaments and tassels

• bare legs and black ankle-strap heels

The LoRA is strongest for identity, outfit, hairstyle, horns, ears and the overall teal-white visual motif. It works best on WAI / Illustrious-based SDXL checkpoints.

Recommended Usage

Default Weight

0.7

This is the best balance found in evaluation. It gives stable identity and outfit recall without too much background or accessory pollution.

Useful Range

0.6 - 0.8

Motion / Composition First

0.35 - 0.55

Use lower weight when the pose, motion or background is more important than maximum character fidelity.

Avoid as Default

0.9 - 1.0

High weights strengthen identity, but can also over-emphasize teal tail-like or weapon-like shapes, lock the composition, and reduce prompt obedience.

Other Illustrious / WAI-compatible SDXL checkpoints should work, but the exact character recall may vary.

Known Limitations

• The LoRA intentionally uses dusk (arknights) as a character anchor, so it inherits some Dusk / WAI prior knowledge.

• High weights can produce teal tail-like or weapon-like forms.

• Dynamic poses may be pulled back toward front-facing standing or seated compositions.

• Lower weights improve pose freedom but weaken identity and outfit precision.

• This model is primarily intended for WAI / Illustrious SDXL. Cross-family compatibility with Pony, realistic XL or non-Illustrious models is not the target.
