Tractor pulling is a motorsport where modified tractors compete to pull a heavy drag along a designated track. The objective is to pull the drag the farthest distance possible. This sport is often referred to as the "world's most powerful motorsport" due to the high horsepower of the modified tractors involved. It originated from horse pulling contests and became popular in the U.S. during the 1950s and 1960s.
