Serialized in Manga Time Kirara Max, this rock-themed series became a massive cultural hit comparable to K-ON!, inspiring countless fans to pick up musical instruments. Ikuyo Kita serves as the rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist for "Kessoku Band," operating out of the live house "STARRY" in Shimokitazawa. The direct opposite of Hitori, she is an exceptionally bright, sociable, and radiant extrovert. Although she initially joined the band out of infatuation with Ryo, she panicked over her complete inability to play the guitar and fled right before their first performance. However, after discovering Hitori practicing discreetly at school, she developed a genuine passion for the instrument, reunited with the band to apologize, and threw herself into relentless practice. Endearingly self-conscious about her given name, she strongly prefers to be addressed by her surname, "Kita-chan."
