Calida turns any prompt into flat, opaque paint laid down in broad unblended planes with crisp hard edges, closer to gouache or poster paint than to a photograph. Detail is stripped back: forms are built from simplified geometric shapes and flat silhouettes, with no surface texture and no gradient inside a shape. The palette runs on ochre, burnt orange, mustard yellow, teal, slate blue and warm cream, and light is hard, raking and directional, throwing sharp-edged shadows in deep blue-violet and cool grey.
