Sonilo

Sonilo is an audio generation model for music and sound effects. Describe a track or a sound in plain language and it returns a finished clip: full instrumental or vocal music up to six minutes long, or a sound effect from half a second to three minutes. It is built for creators scoring videos, games and ads, and paid generations come with commercial-use output rights.

Built and run by Sonilo Inc. All credit for the model goes to the Sonilo team. Sonilo does not publish model weights - generation runs on Sonilo's own API, and Civitai connects to it so you can use it right here in the generator. Two modes: music and sound effects

Music turns a prompt into a complete track. Name the genre, mood, tempo, instrumentation and vocals, for example "upbeat synth-pop at 118 BPM with a bright female vocal hook and punchy side-chained bass". Tracks run from 5 seconds to 6 minutes.

Sound effects turn a prompt into a single effect, ambience or Foley cue, for example "glass bottle shattering on a concrete floor, close perspective". Effects run from 0.5 seconds to 3 minutes.

Writing good prompts

Be specific about what you hear, not what you want it for. For music, genre plus two or three concrete details (tempo, lead instrument, vocal or instrumental) works better than a long list of adjectives. For sound effects, name the source, the material and the distance: "heavy wooden door creaking open in a stone hallway" beats "spooky door sound".

Length and cost

Generations are priced by output length. Sonilo bills a minimum length per clip - 10 seconds for music and 3 seconds for sound effects - so a shorter request costs the same as that minimum.

What is on Civitai

On-site generation covers text-to-music and text-to-sound-effect. Sonilo's video-driven tools (scoring a video, syncing effects to a clip, dubbing) are available through their own platform and are not part of the Civitai generator today.
