I recommend keeping the weight under 0.5 for most textures, otherwise you might end up with a simple cube, blob, sphere, etc. rather than the character/object you wanted. Start with 0.4 and then increase or decrease the strength to get a good result.
Prompt Guide: Try 'texture object' e.g. 'chainmail sonic the hedgehog' or 'object made of texture', e.g. 'sonic the hedgehog made of chainmail'
Textures Pack is a LoRA I trained on many different textured objects, intending to merge into my main PixelWave base model. But it was too strong and I couldn't use it. So I'm sharing it with you. π
The success of each individual texture varies of course due to how familiar SDXL is already with the subject, and also some textures had more training images than others.
I don't recommend merging into a base model. A lot of the training images are simple objects (cubes, spheres) against a plain background, and square aspect ratio. You probably don't want this bias in your model.
