A ComfyUI workflow combining Self-Lift progressive sampling, acceleration and de-oiling LoRAs, and DLSS upscaling for faster high-resolution video generation.

Self-Lift starts sampling at a lower resolution to establish composition and motion, then increases the latent resolution to refine textures and details. DLSS provides an additional upscaling stage for 4K output.

Whatโ€™s included

  • A faster three-pass generation path using Self-Lift.

  • A standard single-pass path for users who prioritize stability and fidelity.

  • Acceleration and de-oiling LoRAs to improve speed and reduce the oily appearance and harsh highlights seen in some H3 outputs.

  • Parameter presets for different balances of speed and quality.

  • Optional DLSS upscaling for either generation path.

Requirements and limitations

For local use, I recommend at least 16 GB VRAM and 64 GB system memory. Actual requirements depend on resolution, duration, and settings. Download the required models and install the plugins linked below.

In my tests, 25-second clips generated reasonably reliably. Slower motion generally works better; fast or large movements can still become blurry or produce artifacts. The faster path may also introduce small detail issues compared with the standard single-pass workflow.
