This style LoRA is based on Juanjo Guarnido’s artwork for Blacksad, the noir comic series he makes with writer Juan Díaz Canales. It reproduces his look: anthropomorphic animals in 1950s American settings, painted in watercolour over confident, animation-trained drawing. Expect expressive faces, lively poses, warm amber lamplight against cool blue shadows, and cluttered period detail such as fedoras, trench coats, jazz clubs, cigarette smoke and rain-soaked streets. Since Guarnido trained in animation, characters keep a lot of personality even in quiet scenes.

Usage
Put the trigger word first, then describe the animal character, outfit and setting.
Start at strength 0.8–1.0.
The LoRA works best with animal characters. Human subjects tend to pick up animal features. If you want people, lower the strength and describe them clearly as human.
Noir and period settings suit it best. Lighting words like “lamplight”, “night rain” and “smoky bar” help with mood.
Some outputs may include speech balloons or captions from the comic pages. Add “no text, no speech bubbles” if you don’t want them.
