Kinu Nishimura is a Japanese video game and anime concept artist and illustrator, best known for her character design and promotional art for Capcom's fighting games. This LoRA is an attempt to reproduce the artist's style with Pony (SDXL).
Guidelines:
Requires the prompt "in kinu-sensei artstyle".
Pony Diffusion V6 XL captures Kinu-sensei's style faithfully. Meanwhile, Pony-derived checkpoints infuse anime art with a subtle flavor of her signature touch. AutismMix SDXL strikes a pretty good balance between Nishimura's style and traditional anime aesthetics, (see the accompanying example images below).
Keep LoRA weight at or below 0.8. Strange things happen otherwise.
Out-of-the-box, this model struggles more than most with hands and faces. (I can only guess this is due to the large amount of full body character sheets that comprise the training data set. Nishimura's illustrations tend to feature detailed anatomy and clothing.)
For correcting the faces, ADetailer/inpainting is essential.
As for hands, I've had great results using BadHands SDXL (negative Lycoris/LoKr) in the negative prompt at a weight of 0.5. Credit goes to sudapop.
