Works reliably from weight 0.5-1.0, not much reason to go higher unless you're balancing multiple Loras.
Isolating the type of scar you want with negative prompts works but is not fully reliable. E.g. If you want only a face scar, enter the others into the negative. Burn scar on face in negative makes the overall effect of the lora MUCH weaker, but leaving it out should also mean no burn scar on face is generated.
