It's definitley possible to obtain the desired "cake design effect" from this lora, but still isn't easy to use. i suggest you to increase the weight, 1.5 worked well for me. And yes, it indeed does something, just try on the same seed with the lora on and off. it just needed a bit more training. It's quite funny that even the example image aren't quite like the effect wich the lora is supposed to give
