After making Felicity I had the urge to try and make her a sister - plainer, and with an acne problem, in my continuing attempt to make more normal characters. I used the same IP-Adapter/Controlnet method I used to make Elba but also realised how to improve it, which is just me not understanding it. Previously I said it would just do a straight faceswap (while reactor would match expressions with the underlying image) so you'd have to do some post-faceswap processing to add some expressions for variety.
That's just not true. You can just add anything you want to the prompt, and it'll do it. So I did half the faces with "smiling" and the other half with "neutral expression" to give some flexibility. I also realised the best, most reliable way to do a dataset is just batch inpaint at 1024 x 1024 and generate the whole image rather than just the inpainted area, which is the opposite of how I normally work.
Modesty has turned out... not great. She's certainly got a skin issue, but it's not acne. In reality, you should just use this Acne lora on a character without acne. I'll probably re-train her without the skin condition too.
