WHY

This model is designed to enable artists and content creators to infuse more personality and uniqueness into their work by incorporating finely-tuned flags of their respective countries.

The necessity for this became apparent when I observed the significant disparity in quality between FLUX.1 Schnell and Dev.

FLUX.1 Dev generally excels in producing precise country flags, whereas with Schnell, the results are unpredictable. Given that the Dev and Pro versions are significantly more expensive to operate, this model offers a viable alternative for those seeking to integrate national pride or geo-personalized art into their projects.

WHAT

At the moment the following nations' flags have been trained on this model:

  • South Korea

  • Japan

  • China

  • Thailand

  • Vietnam

  • Taiwan

UPCOMING

  1. Slowly add more countries to the model while refining the existing ones.

  2. Eventually add famous landmarks and culturally significant buildings to the model

  3. Continue to improve this model into a very robust and efficient one-stop shop for all your culturally specific needs.

ISSUES

Although I have not been able to test the model extensively yet, I have noticed a few issues that will need fixing:

  1. Chinese and Vietnamese flags are easily misassigned, as appearance-wise they are fairly similar looking

  2. The Korean flag may sometimes try to turn Japanese, and main symbol can turn completely red. The black lines are also often inaccurate.

Luckily, these issues can be somewhat alleviated through some text / prompt assistance.

  • In the end we're all one family living on this earth, waiting for AGI to come fuck us all anyways. Let's be nice to one another while we can.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

  • While this model can be used for NSFW content, it's not the goal or mission. If you want to train your weird little kink into it, by all means, go for it. But I will not take requests for weird, odd, or strangely specific training.

  • Unfortunately, this was the only model that Civitai actually succeeded in training. As a long term user and loyal member of Civitai, I want to continue to support the platform, but I've been having much more luck training FLUX loras on Tensor (cheaper as well). It's a great site to use in conjunction with Civitai.
