17.04.2025 Version for Illustrious XL 0.1.
It's been so long, let me remind you. Griftlands is a roguelike card game made by Klei Entertainment. This lora is more to represent the three main characters of the game: Sal, Rook and Smith. All three are grifters, something like a mercenary or bounty hunter. Of course, each has their own story, Sal is avenging his family, Smith is not avenging his family but wants to get an inheritance, and Rook is a double, triple or even quadruple undercover agent.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to create a lora that can generate all the main and secondary characters of the game. The current version, in addition to the main characters, can limitedly generate characters of two alien species - shroke and jarackle.
recommended weight: 0.9 - 0.8
Main characters and triggers:
sal_fallon, red scarf,
shoulder pad, shirt, pants, belt pouch,
holding knife, dual wielding
rook_grifter, mustache, goggle hat, purple uniform,
one prosthetic leg, belt pouch,
holding handgun, dual wielding
smith_grifter, frog man, blue jacket,
green skin, brown pants, belt on chest,
holding hammer, two-handed weapon
Secondary characters and triggers:
shroke_r, blank white eyes, grey skin
jarackle_f, brown skin, furry,
pointy ears
Notes:
Sal is too cute. She's more masculine in the game. This is due to the large amount of fan art in the training images and could have been fixed by adding more screenshots from the game, but I like Sal in the current version.
Rook turned out pretty good overall. Much better than in the very first lora for Pony. (there he had one duplicated image in an active pose with a grin emote, which made him look terrible) His purple jacket with buttons spread all over the lora. But the pistols are not always displayed correctly.
Unfortunately, Smith intentionally stuck to the "frog man" tag. Without it, he won't be able to display correctly. In a separate lora for him, I tried to train without this tag, the result was even worse. In the game, Smith has different eyes. And also, Smith is very poorly displayed from the side or from non-standard angles. (in a separate lora for him, this is less of a problem)
This is the 8th attempt to train this lora in the last 2 weeks. Plus another 6 or more attempts to remake this lora for all the time before that. Many hours were spent removing the background from the images, describing the characters, coming up with tags for clothes and jackets so that they would not be repeated. At some point, the number of images grew to 347. And the folder with the archive began to look like this:
Kashio had 9 images, Moreef had 8 images, Fssh had 6 images. The Admiralty faction had 35 images, Luminari had 18, Spark Barons had 16. Even the Automech robots had 8 images. But all this is still not enough to teach lora to display characters correctly. I tried increasing "networkDim" to 52, and thought about increasing it even more.
As a result, most of the images had to be abandoned.
But I got invaluable experience that creating a normally working lora with several characters is very difficult. And the more characters, the more difficult it is to make it work. Clothes on different characters get mixed up. And in most cases, this lora will work poorly.
Old pony version:
An attempt to create a lora in the style of the Griftlands game. The model in most cases creates images of people similar to Sal. She also really loves red scarves and simple backgrounds, which she trained on. This lora is not suitable for creating realistic
