I like to turn cartoons and anime into semi-realistic images by using realification loras with Pony v6 (not realistic checkpoints). The seeds of my posted results are 0 to 15 so you know that the images were not selected from many and can properly judge variation. This lora produced more realistic results than most character loras. I fail to see the reason behind ADetailer's popularity because I rarely need it to produce good faces and it is very time consuming. Instead, I use CodeFormer with a weight of 0.8 (strength decreases with increasing weight) because it uses negligible time. The only times that I needed ADetailer was when faces were small, never for large faces as in portraits.
