The Polish Hussars, a.k.a. the winged hussars, were a heavy cavalry formation active in Poland and in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth between 1503 and 1702. Their derived their epithet from the large rear wings they bear on the backs of their armors. The hussars ranked as the elite of Polish cavalry until their official disbanding in 1776.
The Polish Hussars differed from the other types of hussar cavalry outside of Poland, being heavily armored and intended as shock cavalry. The Polish Hussars recruited from among the nobilities, and were instrumental in several Polish–Lithuanian victories.
Trigger words are:
winged_hussar_armor
intended for winged armors, for non-winged variant, use:
winged_hussar_armor
You can control several parts of the armor by using or omitting the following keywords:
single-winged, pauldrons, vambraces, gauntlets, faulds, boots, etc.
You can put "riding on horseback", "on horseback", or "horseback riding" for the iconic look. Included several images of mass cavalry charges, try "group, multiple males, etc." for this.
