Welcome to MASC V1.0, a collaboration between Divergent AI and Gen Hunks. This isn't just an update; it's a complete overhaul. Born from a frustration with the bias toward female subjects in AI, MASC V1.0 is an immensely powerful LoRA for Flux-based models, designed to generate stunningly detailed, diverse, and photorealistic men.

This model transforms the base Flux model's capabilities, turning it into a specialized tool for creating top-tier masculine characters for your artistic, editorial, and creative projects.

Hey Hunk fans! I've been slaving incredibly hard on my education in regards to LoRA training and improving my training workflows over the last year. I'm super excited to release V1.0 of one of my first every LoRA models. I really hope you enjoy it throughly, please post your best outputs below!

🔥 What's New in V1.0? A Monumental Leap Forward

MASC V1.0 is a massive improvement over the V0.3 prototype. Enjoy highly detailed, realistic, and consistent output.

• 👑 Supreme Detail & Realism: The model was finetuned on a multi-resolution dataset (512, 768, and 1024px), allowing it to generate supremely detailed outputs with near pixel-perfect accuracy.

• 👨‍🔬 Superior Facial Generation: This LoRA excels at creating realistic closeups, especially detailed faces—traditionally a weak point for the base Flux model. This makes MASC V1.0 an incredible tool for generating character concepts for your own LoRAs or projects.

• 🎨 Incredible Generalization: While trained on photorealism, the model is incredibly adept at creating concepts outside its training data. It can generate awesome surreal and artistic scenes with absolute ease while still maintaining a core of believable realism.

• 🧠 Refined Dataset & Training: Trained on a curated dataset of 300+ images covering creative editorial content, social media "hunks," and artistic semi-clothed portraits. NOTE: There is NO frontal nudity in the dataset.

To get the absolute best results, you need to think like an artist and write like a novelist. This LoRA was trained on highly descriptive, natural language captions. Forget keyword stuffing; instead, paint a picture with your words. Here’s how to construct the perfect prompt.

1. The Subject: Be Specific

Start with a clear and detailed description of your character.

• Action/Pose: What is he doing? ("captured mid-stride during a run," "leaning confidently against a vintage car," "intently focused on his work").

• Expression/Emotion: What is his mood? ("a subtle, confident smile," "a look of intense determination," "a thoughtful, serene expression").

• Attire/Features: What is he wearing? Be specific about fabrics and styles. ("wearing a tailored navy blue linen suit," "a rugged leather jacket with a worn texture," "a simple white t-shirt").

2. The Environment: Build the World

Place your subject in a well-defined setting.

• Location: Where is he? ("on a minimalist rooftop terrace," "in a sun-drenched artisan workshop," "on a rain-soaked neon-lit street").

• Time & Weather: When is it? ("during the golden hour at sunset," "on a bright, overcast afternoon," "at dawn, with mist rising from the street").

• Background/Foreground: What else is in the scene? ("the background features a vibrant city skyline," "in the foreground, tools are scattered on a workbench").

3. The Camera: Think Like a Photographer

Control the composition by describing the shot.

• Shot Type & Angle: How is it framed? ("a dynamic low-angle full body shot," "an intimate chest-up portrait," "an extreme close-up of the eyes," "a wide cinematic landscape").

• Focus & Lens Effects: What is in focus? ("shot with a shallow depth of field, creating a beautiful bokeh effect," "deep focus with the entire scene sharp," "captured with an 85mm f/1.4 lens").

4. The Atmosphere: Set the Mood

Use lighting, color, and mood keywords to define the feeling.

• Lighting: Describe the light source and quality. ("bathed in the warm ambient glow of golden hour," "dramatic chiaroscuro lighting from a single window," "soft, diffused light from an overcast sky").

• Color Palette: Guide the colors of the image. ("a warm, inviting color palette with autumn tones," "a monochromatic black and white photo," "vibrant neon colors reflecting on wet pavement").

• Mood: What is the overall vibe? ("the atmosphere is sophisticated and aspirational," "the mood is gritty, noir, and mysterious," "a feeling of calm and serenity").

5. The Style: Define the Finish

Specify the artistic medium and aesthetic.

• Medium/Style: How should it look? ("ultra-photorealistic cinematic film still," "a hyperdetailed digital painting," "an image with a gritty, textured feel," "reminiscent of a kodachrome film look").

🚀 How to Get the Best Results (Quick Settings)

• LoRA Strength: 1.0. If you have anatomy issues, increase steps before lowering strength.

• Sampler Steps: 20 for good quality, 40-50 for maximum realism.

• Resolution: Highly flexible. Tested at 1024px resolutions at various aspect ratios.

• Model: Our examples were generated with Flux.1 Dev (fp8).
