Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778) was an Italian artist, engraver, architect, and designer, best known for his etchings of Rome and his imaginative architectural fantasies. His work is characterized by dramatic perspectives and intricate details, often depicting ruins and grand architectural structures that evoke a sense of nostalgia for the ancient world.

Piranesi's most famous series of prints is "Carceri d'Invenzione" (Imaginary Prisons), which features fantastical and labyrinthine spaces that reflect themes of confinement and the sublime. He also produced a significant body of work showcasing the archaeological sites and architecture of Rome, contributing to the understanding of ancient Roman culture and aesthetics.

In addition to his artistic contributions, Piranesi was an influential figure in the Neoclassical movement, inspiring later artists and architects with his unique vision.

However, I discovered his works by reading more about the lore of the game called IXION, where Piranesi is the name of an enormous spaceship. A good game!

Using "Giovanni Battista Piranesi", or just Piranesi will get you the style closest to his, but no trigger is required. It can do colour and realistic, take a look at the example images to see...examples of this.

It can run at a wide range of strengths- as low as 0.25 will give you a much cleaner style, but less close to that which Piranesi was known for. Higher strengths get you closer to his darker creations, with more of a charcoal style. You can go as high as 2.5 with no issues.

It can be used with other loras - I found some character loras would work with it, lending their faces to statues or other figures in the scenes.

Please share your generations, it helps, and will also allow me to see the weird and wonderful things you create, cheers!
