Hannah Hooper, born on September 11, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, is a multifaceted artist renowned for her role as a vocalist, keyboardist, and visual artist in the band Grouplove. She met Christian Zucconi in New York City, and their connection led to the formation of Grouplove during an artist residency in Crete, Greece, in 2009. The band gained early success with their self-titled EP in 2010, which secured them a deal with Atlantic Records. Their debut album, "Never Trust a Happy Song" (2011), featured the hit single "Tongue Tied," propelling them to fame. Grouplove has since released six studio albums and two EPs, with notable albums including "Spreading Rumours" (2013) and "I Want It All Right Now" (2023). In addition to her musical talents, Hooper is celebrated for her visual art, contributing album cover designs and visuals for the band's performances.
