In the film titled “Is It CG? Or…”, I begin by posing the question implied in the title. The story then unfolds around a story featuring a panda pilot traveling across China’s places of interet. The panda, piloting a fighter jet, soars over several iconic Chinese landmarks, capturing the attention of locals along the way. In the closing scene, a young monk in meditation revisits the central question and provides an answer, tying it back to the theme with a playful linguistic twist.

This film is an exploration of boundaries, questioning whether the distinction between AI-generated imagery and traditional CG is as clear-cut as it seems, or if this distinction is rooted in conventional human perceptions. If not, can we, moving forward, blur or even transcend these boundaries to create a new form of artistic expression?
