At its peak of existence humanity created a super intelligence that far surpassed anything ever made before. Achieving an almost utopian perfect society humanity realized their fatal mistake almost too late to save them all. After major devastation to the world of Terrania due to the war against AI as well as interstellar cataclysmic events, the world's resources became limited and scarce as most of its surface became uninhabitable. Immediately after the fallout of a nuclear holocaust the world was even more devastated by an alien asteroid that almost wiped all of the Earth's population off the surface and spread new alien diseases throughout Terrania.
With the arrival of the asteroid came new technologies as well. Quick to collect the new alien resources the worlds mega corporations set up base at the heart of the disaster to form the PMC coalition and gather all the precious new alien technology for themselves. Humans gathered together in lawless groups in the few still habitable places and quickly realized their limited space. As the remnants of Terranias society scavenged the scorched earths, mega corporations took over the world's economy and private military companies rose to power through them.
People rallied around leaders who promised to unite the world once again and bring prosperity to Terrania. As things seem to take a brighter turn once again a new nigh unstoppable threat emerged biological in nature and causing devastation unlike the world had ever seen, forcing humanity to work together in hopes of survival once again. Now with diseases running wild infecting what is left of civilization, humanity has but one hope, the arrival of the prophesied savior to lead all of Terrania to victory and save the world.
