Tarot cards: iterating for an improved look

Revising some details in The Fool and in Death. Hopefully these versions are final.

The Fool, in this chibi style, was originally posted as a txt2img B-side. Mulling over the different variants, including the txt2img shots and the original (non-chibi) finished image, I changed my mind, and decided that the chibi style suits this character best afterall. So I did a bit of detailing on the best chibi shot of the three.

The prompt that worked best for detailing the buildings was just "fantasy cityscape, newest, masterpiece, best quality". For detailing the character, the original txt2img prompt (shown here) was fine.

This version is going into the deck, if I ever finish one.

Death, in the original finished image, was holding her scythe uncomfortably on the tip of her shoulder, which I didn't notice before I posted the image. This has been fixed in the version posted here.

The foreground select tool of GIMP turned out useful for repositioning the blade. Then I filled the hole in the background with the worst photoshop job ever, as usual. Then back in Forge, inpainted the broken background and the seams, and redrew the shaft and hair (in that order) with inpaint sketch mode.

GIMP's foreground select is a bit unintuitive to use, so if you're familiar with GIMP, but not with that particular selection tool, the user manual is recommended.
