Miyamoto Musashi (1584–1645)
Legendary Japanese swordsman, undefeated in 60+ duels. Master of kenjutsu (sword fighting) and founder of the Niten Ichi-ryū school. Wrote "The Book of Five Rings" on strategy. Known for his two-sword style (katana + wakizashi), wild appearance (unkempt hair, simple robes), and solitary ronin (masterless samurai) life. Died peacefully after a lifetime of battle.
