Image Set 1 - Karras vs Simple KES

In this image set (to complement the article soon to be published), we compare simple prompts with how KES denoises the image down vs Karras. Between Karras and Exponential they are very similar, but different. Karras tends to denoise a lot at the start, and exponential does more denoising near the end. Simple KES can lean one way or the other based off of the blend_factor, but I like to keep it at a hybrid karras blend setting. But that's only 1 factor which controls how this scheduler performs. This scheduler is indirectly affected by the complexity of a prompt, as it denoises it compares mean/max sigmas and performs based on those factors.

While this scheduler is in alpha testing right now and not all features are fully activated, I have noticed significant improvement in some areas and the image quality is better. Howebeit, this comes not without drawbacks. Of which, creating a prompt on this scheduler can be a challenge as you will likely need to rebuild all your prompts from scratch, because it behaves differently than other standard schedulers.

The second picture in each image below is Karras Exponential (aka Simple KES "Karras Exponential Scheduler").

So when you see in a dress, thats Simple KES. When you see 3 hands/arms vs the prompt to not be turned sideways in the negative prompt - that's regular Karras.

Overview of prompts:

Simple KES denoises differently than a standard scheduler like Karras or exponential. As a result, you may notice on some seeds that what you get isn't what you wanted. Even with Prompt 5, where it's not perfect but you can see its better than the other. It only looks like theres a second dog standing (photobombing) the image.
