Jadis the White Witch from Narnia- Narnia-koku Monogatari - V1 Showcase
Jadis the White Witch from the Narnia manga Narnia-koku Monogatari. In the grand tradition of these things, the initial gen pictures aren't great but I'll keep them here since they're at least good for some ideas.
So, as my loras go, not bad not bad. Still a learning curve and we can do better with it, but I think this is the fastest I ever got one working, maybe the larger sample size helped. Here's a few quickies, I have to sit down with it and really crank some stuff out., start throwing some style and hand loras in and such.
So, lemme run down the plot to Chronicles of Narnia as I understand it from the manga. The professor (Digory) from Narnia and his gal pal are still little kids and wind up in another dimension, courtesy of these magic rings his deadbeat magician uncle rigged up. They wind up on this blasted planet in another dimension, and wake up Jadis with this magic bell, who's this Wilt Chamberlain looking babe who's real proud that she blew the whole thing up with a no no bad adult magic word. They book for Earth, where Jadis finds her magic doesn't work but she's got the brawn of like 3 Undertakers, or half a dozen Mark William Calaways, whichever measurement you like.
Andrew (the uncle), being a man of culture and eyesight, tries to pitch Jadis a little woo, but she's all like, gimme a carriage, gimme a necklace, gimme a PLANET, and the worst thing in all this is she doesn't even have the grace to say please. So Jadis goes into London, she's yanking bars off lampposts, and she's riding two horses at a time I'm pretty sure, ya know, like water skis, she's going absolutely apeshit, the cops can't handle it, I'm not sure they want to cuz its just such a novelty, and where's the mayor in all this? Not restoring public order I'll tell you what!
So, there's a big fracas during all this, and they all wind up in Narnia. Aslan shows up, Jadis eats a magic apple, and that's really it. Oh right, and they bury the magic rings with a magic apple core (no really), which grows up to be a big tree they wind up making the magic bureau from later on. I mean there's more of course, but as a writer sharing plot, this is the end of what I have that I think would get you excited. If I was to sum up the highlights, it would be Jadis hulking out, and I like the whole dead planet concept, gives it some gravitas and that kinda downbeat sci fi/fantasy vibe I like, but I'm biased, everybody has their moments I suppose.
Anyways, if you want to condense it all, you could do worse than the manga. I like some of the liberties it took with it, I think the author definitely understood the male mind when it came to Jadis. Magic apple, tea, or me?
