Gaula Redux
Throwback to one of the earliest critters I brought to life on this site, now with the benefit of sorta’ knowing what the devil I’m doing.
Gaula come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. But their uniting features are as follows: A sharp beak-like mouth, four legs with clawed feet, horns, a fibrous hide that toughens with age, and a soft and flowing mane. Despite their animalistic appearance however, the Gaula’s most defining trait is that they are a form of flora rather than fauna, literally sentient plants.
Though abundant as wildlife, many have been domesticated and are kept as livestock for food, labor, riding and pack mounts, or even household pets. Some display signs of intelligence, being able to obey commands and even mimic simple speech. Regardless, caution is essential around undomesticated Gaula as they are, without exception, all carnivorous.
You can help me bring the world of Eridiol and Terem to life by sharing, reacting, tipping, of buying me a Ko-Fi (https://ko-fi.com/lastofthegoatmen). Any support is appreciated!
