Shadow Weaver creating Buzz
"I cast a spell of darkness- ho... -to summon Buzz!"
Original 80's She-Ra was before my time, but I watched the reruns and fell in love with the silly, colorful adventures, especially the evil sorceress Shadow Weaver. The way the voice actress randomly throws in "ho..." and "ah..." to her dialogue, as if she's struggling for the breath to finish her sentences, sounds both evil and a little pitiable, and really sells the character's vibe as a damaged person who's given everything for power. She's a lot like the wizard Raistlin from Dragonlance, in that regard. You ought to despise her, but I always end up rooting for the magical underdogs. When I came across a character lora for her I just had to try it out, and the results were actually pretty cool, I think. I did the portrait as a nod to civit's "Buzz" currency for laughs, but it's not actually trying to gain tips, or anything (I didn't post it to the beggar's board) it's just for fun. A thumbs up or heart would sure be appreciated, though, if this made you- ha... -smile... ;)
