I know that @Gebsfrom404 is watching my works from time to time but just can’t prove it yet…

Or can I? Actually, in a sense, it is possible. The whole inspiration behind this post lies in his post where he tried to turn Compass (I can swear that’s him) into a Disco Elysium character portrait and skill portrait. Aaaaaand… that inspired me to try that monochrome thing with the other parts of the Trinity.

A little talk about them. Because the main idea behind their designs was Disco Elysium’s skills, I tried to adjust the colour palette to represent their possible places on Harry’s skill table. They were quite easy to assign, Compass being part of the Intellect group (probably Logic/Encyclopedia/Rhetoric), Empathy being… well, Psyche’s Empathy (or Volition) and Quant being… closest to Half Light? :^

Now, back to the story behind the post. To not make it just about the trio, Little Wing was added afterwards. She was a perfect candidate to represent the Motorics group, namely Hand/Eye Coordination. And after that… a single “What if I try making a bunch of OCs of people from EchoPony?” thought started a whole I2T experiment. Yep, image to text, not the other way around :P

This is basically how I ended up here. Going undercover, collecting pics of OCs, searching for distinctive features, replicating them and all that. And this monochrome collection kept raising a question: What colour should be the one present? I went with the following logic: Use hair color as the main one and recolour eyes into it; If the main colour is black or gray – use eye colour as the main one; Keep body black unless it has some distinctive features that are best left unchanged. That’s why you can see that most of the characters don’t have their original eye colour (for example Little Wing actually has blue eyes and not yellow).

I apologize in advance if I got some details wrong. Tried my best but might have missed something.

I guess that’s it for today? Sadly, I didn’t have enough time to play with Forge this week and am starting to worry that I won’t be able to finish my project before the end of the year. But rushing things will not result in anything good so I’m just hoping that everything will get better.
