James Lawrence
James is a 32-year-old leopard–antelope hybrid, born with the powerful build of a leopard and the horns and ears of his antelope father.
A city bus driver by trade, James is known for his steady optimism, tireless work ethic, and uncanny reflexes that make navigating crowded streets second nature. Years of dodging reckless drivers, and superhero battles, have left him unfazed by chaos, and he’s long since stopped caring who’s fighting whom as long as he gets his passengers through safely. Calling his boss on the emergency line to explain yet another delay “due to superheroes” is routine by now. Still, thanks to his deep knowledge of the city’s side streets and shortcuts, James usually manages to get people where they need to be, sometimes faster than planned.

Dr. Vivian Chambers
Dr. Chambers is a 34-year-old former pharmaceutical scientist whose brilliance was forever scarred by tragedy.
An explosion caused by a villain destroyed the lab she worked in, killing her wife and costing Vivian her arm, while no hero arrived in time to save them. That moment shattered her faith in heroism, replacing it with bitterness and ruthless resolve. Now operating from a hidden underground laboratory, Vivian uses her exceptional intellect to design advanced and unethical weaponry for villains, from plasma guns to sophisticated cyber-shields. Lacking formal combat training, she relies on technology and stealth to survive : a plasma gun for last-resort defense and a mechanical backpack that deploys cybernetic wings, allowing her to escape rather than confront. To Vivian, survival, and vengeance, are matters of calculation, not courage.

Kelly Reid, known on the streets as BrightSpark, is a 27-year-old hyena who traded courtrooms for skylines after finishing law school.
Once set on becoming a judge, she found herself drawn instead to the immediacy of hero work, where justice could be delivered in a flash rather than debated for years. Hotheaded and fiercely protective, Kelly has a habit of stunning her enemies first and sorting out the details later. Her lightning powers respond strongly to storms, surging to near-unstoppable levels under darkened skies, but she is far from helpless in clear weather. From harmless static shocks to full-force lightning strikes, BrightSpark controls electricity with instinctive precision, often matching her own volatile energy.
