Just wanted to share this space - themed artwork I created, inspired by the wonders of cosmic exploration. The image depicts an astronaut on a moon - like surface with a massive black hole looming in the background, alongside elements like the ISS and a rover, all set against the vastness of space.
To bring this scene to life, I utilized Inpainting for refining details (like texturing the lunar surface or enhancing the black hole’s fiery accretion disk) and GIMP for overall compositing, color grading, and bringing together all these elements into a cohesive piece. It was a fun blend of sci - fi imagination and digital art techniques!
