A Little Light in the Darkness

The garden grew quieter as the last colors of sunset faded into the evening sky. Little lights drifted through the flowers, rising and falling with the warm summer breeze.
One of them settled softly on Fluttershy's hoof.
She turned to Marble Pie with a gentle smile.
"...Here..."
"...I thought you might like to see."
The little light flickered softly between them.
Marble Pie watched for a long, quiet moment.
Then, almost in a whisper...
"...Hello, little one."
