Misty Brightdawn as Karane Inda (100 Girlfriends)
A tsundere is often depicted as someone who has a very kind heart despite their violent temper. Misty's talent is connecting with others, but she never inherited the violent temper from her foster mother. Won't stop me from pouring the entire bottle of spice over her, after all, she has the most treatment out of all the characters. Tragic backstory, a character arc, carries many faults, there's nothing I can say that the show needs to work on for her... except the resourcefulness for her writers.
Karane is a tsundere no dah, but surprisingly, Misty really does fit the status of a tsundere as I would define her of being more of the recessive kind. She's charming at times and often has to get past a barrier that usually stems from her own psyche, but the problem with tsunderes is that if they're overused, the things that makes them likeable flip around into making them irritable. 'It's not like I did it for you,' is no better than, 'I don't think I can do it,' after a while, and Misty has been the writers' main resource for writing stories of late as she's often placed as either the counselor or is the bringer of problems that needs to be confronted (practically 1/3 of the time at least as another 1/3 is Sparky's doing and the last 1/3 being a third party). I'm getting sick of her, but the show keeps making her the center of attention as of late for one reason or another to provide content for an episode as she's riddled with issues, and now that they're leaning her towards using magic, we're all going to be in even more trouble as magic tends to bring it.
Detailed character, but it's time to stop and reel her back. If we must have her for inducing a problem, then at least make it more of a hobby problem. I've been saying that Misty must've mastered something during those years with Opaline. Build her talents, not her confidence!
