Concept Blending And Control

One of the fun things a lot of the newer models have is "concept blending" - allowing us to create new things as well as helping us to control the composition a bit more.

There are tons of things to explore here, but I wanted to just point out two that I find useful for portrait type images.

  • <something>punk: We all know the biggies like "Steampunk" and "Cyberpunk" - but what about DisneyPunk?

Punk refers to an entire aesthetic, so when you use this, it tends to affect the entire scene. So what if we want a Cyberpunk Scene with someone in a steampunk outfit? For that, we'll use:

  • <something>core: "Core" outfits are your everyday outdoor activities, recreation, and going about your day type outfits. Without describing a bit more about the outfit itself, you might get some random things - like mostly swimsuits or (in the case of this model) sexy exercise/cosplay looking outfits. I like to try a new blend without describing anything specific at first, just so I can see a few pix to see how it's all trending.

The last image here shows a "Cyberpunk" amusement park with a woman in a "Steampunkcore" outfit. You'll notice that only a little of the "cyberpunk" made its way into the outfit. Meanwhile, very little "Steampunk" escaped into the scene except for the clothing theme for the bystanders.

Very fun stuff to play with - share some of your creations with the "Concept Blending" tag so we can get other ideas on how to make fun use of this!
