Shower Thoughts

This short film brings one of Reddit's most popular subreddits /r/Showerthoughts to life.

A collection of insightful, poignant, and funny shower thoughts, visualised through a combination of AI animation techniques.

I created and maintained a coherent visual style using Ipadapter. The scenes in the shower were created with a vid2vid Unsampling workflow, I took source videos of people showering from Pexels.

Some of the imagination scenes were created with Luma and Haiper, I used DomoAI to generate images then used Pom's Steerable Motion workflow in ComfyUI, to create scenes that transition from one thing into another, like nuclear explosion to pizza.

I used Eleven Labs speech to speech for character narration, and read the exact quotes from Reddit posts.
