Alicia - The town alchemist/herbalist - D&D

I am trying to create visual portraits of the main NPC's my group of adventurers are interacting/talking to during their quests or town errands in my D&D campaign (forgotten realms, semi-medieval fantasy). She is one of them.
I named her Alicia and she is the main town alchemist/herbalist.
Kinda lighthearted, feminine in manners, heads on the clouds most of the time, clumsy and distracted at the first glance, but instead very attentive during her work or studies, professional and experienced.

You could enter her shop and be greeted with a big warm smile, as if you were a little cute puppy, or.... be firmly and loudly shouted at, to not move a single muscle as soon as you open her shop door, little door chimes ringing, and are still on the threshold, seeing her intensely concentrated in making one single drop of fluid fall onto what seems to be a little ashpile in a bowl. And as soon as that single drop reaches those.. "ashes".. nothing happens, her face relaxes and tells you to come in, without even saying sorry. If you then happen to ask her about the dangers of whatever she was doing, she would tell you that it was not dangerous, but "too much air disturbance could RUIN EVERYTHING!!" laughing heartedly.

Is she really that crazy? Is that a very elaborated recital of her persona?
What is she hiding?
Do you believe her or not? Do you trust her and drink her healing potions during a fight? Is what you just drank and paid even an healing potion?

Feel free to use this character reference/image/idea in one of your campaigns :)
Or change her! Alter everything and make her become what you imagine her to be instead!
